1 stick of butter, melted ¾ cup of Rum
1 ½ cups of brown sugar 1 ½ cups of finely chopped walnuts
Dash or so of cinnamon

Melt butter in medium sauce pan. Add brown sugar. Cook until brown sugar is melted with the butter. Add a dash of cinnamon. A few minutes before serving, add rum and walnuts. Cook for 3 minutes to burn off alcohol in rum. Pour over bread pudding. I let each person pour desired amount of rum sauce over their bread pudding.
Sauce can be refrigerated to use on remaining bread pudding. Put on a serving of bread pudding. Microwave for 20 to 30 seconds.
