4- 1 oz. squares of unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
¼ salt

Melt chocolate squares and butter in double boiler. Remove from heat. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well with wooden spoon. Mix and sift together flour and salt; gradually add into chocolate mixture stirring well. Pour into greased and floured 9” square pan. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting (if you can stand it.)
