7 lb. Cucumber, sliced 1/4" thick
2C. Lime, powdered
2 Gal. Water
2 qt. Vinegar
4 lb. Sugar
1 tsp Celery Seed
1 tsp Cloves
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp mixed spices for pickle, put into bag

Directions:
Directions:
Places sliced cucumbers in a jar and cover with lime and water. Soak for twenty-four hours.

When good and hot, pour over cucumbers and let stand overnight. Next A.M., place pickles and liquid on stove and cook for thirty-five minutes until cucumbers are clear. Do not let boil.

Place in jars and seal tight.
