1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon honey or molasses
sprinkle of crushed or powdered red pepper
1 -2 T brown sugar
2 tsp. grated ginger } if want Asian taste
1/2 tsp sesame oil } if want Asian taste

Mix all ingredients as desired
Place in zip lock bag with meat and in a flat dish in fridge
Marinate Flank steak 1- 4 hours
Marinate London Broil 4 hours or over night up to 24 hours.
Flank steak grill on stove top or grill a couple minutes per side.
London Broil grill stove top or grill or broiler for 6 min per side depending on thickness.
Both meats should be seared (well browned) as first to seal in juices, then continue to cook on both side till slightly pink in middle.
Rest meat 5 -10 min before slicing thinly across the grain

I often save the marinade and bring it to a boil to destroy any possible bacteria. Then simmer a few minutes to reduce and thicken.
Add as a sauce over finished meat.
