1 whole chicken cut into pieces ( legs, breasts, thighs, etc)
1 cup flour
Creole seasoning
Black pepper
Cayenne pepper (optional)
Garlic powder
Paprika
1/2 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Pre- heat oven to 425 degrees.

Pat chicken dry and sprinkle with garlic powder and Creole seasoning.

In a zip lock bag, combine 1 cup of flour, 1/2 tsp black pepper, a pinch of cayenne pepper (if using, adjust heat as desired), 1/2 tsp. paprika and 1 tsp Creole seasoning. Close bag and mix well.

Add chicken to bag with flour mixture and shake until well coated.

Line a 9x13 glass baking dish with foil ( crumple the foil and then flatten back out). Add butter and place in oven until it sizzles. Place chicken in dish skin side down.
Bake 30 minutes, reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 35-45 minutes longer or until chicken is cooked through.
