Cookie:
8 oz cream cheese (room temp)
1 c butter
1/2 c sugar
2 c sifted flour
1/2 t salt

Filling:
1 c ground nuts
1 c brown sugar
3 t rum flavoring (or vanilla)

Glaze:
1 c powder sugar
5 t milk
1/4 t rum flavoring

Directions:
Cream cream cheese and butter until light. Add sugar; add flour & salt a little at a time. Chill overnight. Set dough out while making filling. Divide dough into 6 flat balls. Use more flour and don't roll very thin. Roll each part on floured board approx 7-8" circle. Cut like a pie so get crescent shape and 8 pieces. Spread dough with melted butter (1/4 c). Sprinkle filling on middle of each crescent (about 1 T), push filling into dough slightly. Start at outer edges and roll to make crescent. Bake 425* 8-10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Watch they don't burn. Brush with glaze.
