4 cups flour
1/2 lb butter(2 sticks), softened
2 cups granular sugar
1 cup molasses
2 cups hot water
1 TBSP baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar and butter. Reserve 1 cup for topping.

Mix flour mixture with molasses, hot water and baking soda to make a smooth batter.

Pour into an ungreased 9" by 13" pan. Top with reserved crumbs.

Bake for 45 minutes in a 350º oven.
