Personal Notes:
In the early 1960's we looked up my Dad's cousin Bruce and his family, who lived in Grand Rapid's, Michigan. "Uncle" Bruce's wife, Aunt Fran, was an excellent cook. My sister and I visited them and enjoyed this dish, which became a frequently-made recipe at our house in Deshler. After I left home, this was a standard at my house for years. Easy and good.
