For Cookies:

1/2 cup butter flavor crisco sticks
1 egg
1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup quick rolled oats
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

For Glaze:

1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
2 - 3 Tbsp. milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 13 X 9 baking pan with cooking spray; line pan with parchment paper so that long sides overlap the pan. Spray parchment with cooking spray.

Cream shortening; gradually add sugars, cream well. Blend in egg, peanut butter, soda, salt and vanilla. Add flour and rolled oats, mixing well. Spread in prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven 15 - 20 minutes until lightly browned.

Sprinkle immediately with chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate over entire pan.

For Glaze:

Combine powdered sugar, peanut butter and milk to drizzling consistency. Drizzle over all. Let stand in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until set. Remove bars from baking pan using parchment paper and cut into individual bars.
