5-6 Tbsp. butter or margarine (divided)
3 Tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 cups milk
5 cups potatoes, diced and cooked
Salt to taste
2 cups Ham, diced and ham

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 3 Tbsp. butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour and pepper. Add milk and cook, stirring until thickened. Add potatoes and ham. Salt to taste. Pour into a 2 qt. shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with topping. Then drizzle 2-3 Tbsp. melted butter over the top. Bake in preheated 400º oven for about 20 minutes.
Toppings:onion soup mix, Croutons, crushed chow mein noodles, corn chips, potato chips, or crackers, or grated cheese.
