1 Ham Bone
4 Quarts Water
1 Small Package Navy Beans
3 Stalks Celery - cut into chunks
3 Carrots - cut into chunks
2 Onions - cut into chunks
4 Tbsp. Oil
3 Tbsp. Flour
1 Small Can Tomato Paste

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients into a large pot with the exception of the oil and flour.

Cook 2 to 3 hours or until the beans are soft

In a frying pan, add oil and flour and cook until well browned. Add this to the soup.

Cook soup for another 20 minutes letting the flour mixture flavor incorporate.

Strain the vegetables from the soup and remove the ham bone.

Serve with your favorite bread for dunking.
