1 1/3 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
2 T. sugar
3/4 T. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
2/3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift all dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Mix egg and milk together in a separate bowl. Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Hold finger over the bottom of a funnel. Pour in some batter, remove finger and let batter drop in a spiral motion into a pan filled with 1 inch of hot oil (heated to 375º). Fry until golden brown turning once. Remove from pan and put on a paper towel. Sprinkle wiht powdered sugar and serve. - Silver Dollar City
