1 pkg lasagna noodles
1 lb hamburger
1/2 lb pork sausage
2 jars (26 oz) spaghetti sauce (I use Ragu Parmesan/Romano)
2 eggs
12 oz. Ricotta cheese
1 c. mozzarella cheese
1 T. dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. mozzarella cheese

Cook noodles according to package directions and drain. Meanwhile, cook beef and pork to a crumble until no longer pink and drain grease. Remove from heat, stir in spaghetti sauce. In a large bowl, combine eggs, ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. Grease 9x12 pan. Spread meat sauce in baking pan. Layer noodles, add ricotta cheese mixture and meat sauce. Repeat layers twice. Top with Parmesan cheese and 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese.

Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover, bake 10 minutes longer or until bubbly. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.

This is the best recipe I have found for lasagna as my friends can attest as they love it when I fix it for them. Can be frozen without baking for up to 3 months. To use frozen lasagna: thaw in fridge overnight. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before baking. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes or until heated through. uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
