1/2 c shredded coconut
green food coloring
1/2 c corn syrup
3 T sugar
3 T butter
2 c corn flakes
1/2 c chopped nuts
mini jelly beans or other small candy

Directions:
Directions:
Place coconut in a container and add a few drops of green food coloring. Cover container and shake until coconut is evenly coated. Set aside.. Combine syrup, sugar and butter into medium saucepan. Over medium heat bring syrup mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 mins longer, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Add corn flakes, nuts, and coconut. Stir until syrup is even distributed.

Drop by rounded tablespoons onto waxed paper or lightly greased baking sheets with buttered fingers, shape portions to resemble nests. When cool, fill nests with jelly beans or gum drops.
