1 – 1 Lb. Bag of dry split peas
8 c. of water
2 med. Potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 large onions, chopped
2 med. Carrots, chopped
2 c. cubed cooked corned beef or ham
½ c. chopped celery
5 tsp. Chicken bouillon granules
1 tsp. Dried marjoram
1 tsp. Poultry seasoning
1 tsp. Rubbed sage
½- 1 tsp. Pepper
½ tsp. Basil

In a Dutch oven or soup kettle, combine all ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 ¼ to 1 ½ hours or until peas and vegetables are tender.
