1 1/2 qt. jar of dill pickles (ie Gedney) *** NOT Kosher- make sure no garlic has been added
3 heaping cups of Sugar
3/4 c. Cider vinegar
Handful of Peppercorns

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the sugar, vinegar, and peppercorns (DO NOT HEAT), just mix and stir. Drain the juice from the dill pickles. Cut into chunks (1/2"-3/4") Put back in the In the empty jar and cover with the sugar- vinegar mixture. Turn back and forth in jar until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate for a few days, turning it over each day.
