1 (19 oz) can organic garbanzo beans, drained (2 cups)
1/3 cup tahini
6 Tbsps lemon juice (about 1 large lemon)
1 Tbsp liquid from the garbanzo beans
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin (optional)
2 cloves garlic, halved
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 pinch paprika
1 tsp minced fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Place the garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, salt and garlic in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl.
Drizzle olive oil over the garbanzo bean mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.
(Optional: top with pesto, toasted pine nuts or sun dried tomatoes.)
Serve with toasted pita chips and/or fresh vegetables for dipping.
