1/2 T butter
2 lbs chuck steak (1" thick)
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 green pepper, sliced
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, chopped (reserve liquid)
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup reserved tomato juice
1 Tbs A-1 steak sauce
1 Tbs cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375°F. Spread 20-inch sheet of foil with butter. cut steak into serving pieces. Arrange on foil, slightly overlapping each piece. sprinkle with onion soup mix, green peppers, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Mix juice, A-1 sauce and cornstarch. Pour over meat and bring foil up, over and double fold edges to seal tightly. Bake 2 hours. Roll back foil and serve.
