2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. oil 1 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 c. flour 1 c. chopped pecans
2 eggs 3 c. chopped apples
1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs; add oil, sugar and vanilla and mix. Add sifted dry ingredients. Add a little at a time. Add nuts and apples. Mixture will be stiff. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350º for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.
