2 lbs. Beef stew meat (cubes)
8 Carrots – coin shaped
1 c. celery – cut in pieces
1 Large can tomatoes (chopped up)
½ pkg. Onion soup mix
4 oz. Cooking Sherry (or dry white wine)
3 tbsp. Tapioca
2 slices white bread – cubed
4 Med. Potatoes- cubed (opt)
1 tbsp. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Salt
½ tsp. Pepper (or to taste)
¾ tsp. thyme, marjoram and rosemary
1 pkg. Frozen peas (add last ½ hr)

Put all ingredients except peas in baking dish. Bake covered at 250º for 6 hours or put in Crock pot and cook for 6 hours – adding the peas the last half hour.
