1/2 Cup Chopped green onions
1 1/2 Lbs smoked salmon
1 egg
Zest of one lemon
1 tbs of flour
1/4 cup Corn Meal or your favorite bread crumbs
Smoke black pepper
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients and make into patties. In a cast-iron skillet brown the patties in coconut oil or canola oil. Don't turn until the patties released from the pan. They should be golden brown on both sides. Do not worry if they are not cooked through. They will finish cooking in the oven. Make sure they get a crispy golden brown crust. Place on rack and put in 350° oven to finish for about 12 to 15 minutes until cooked through.

A note about the smoke salmon. You can smoke your own salmon very easily even in the kitchen. If you have a smoker it's even better. See recipe for smoking salmon indoors in a conventional oven. If you buy smoke salmon previously prepared it is very expensive.
