1 c. butter
1 c. crisco
2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. raisins (we like the light ones)
3 c. nuts
4 c. flour
5 c. oats
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla, and mix well. Mix flour, oats, salt, baking powder and soda. Add to butter mixture. Add nuts and raisins. Form into golf-ball sized cookies and place on cookie sheets (lined with parchment paper) about 2" apart. Bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
