4 eggs
1 c milk
dash salt
1 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven at 350*. 1 uncooked pie shell. Beat eggs until well blended. Add sugar, milk & vanilla, mixing well. Pour into unbaked pie shell, sprinkle the top with a little nutmeg. Bake at 350* until custard is firm & crust is nicely browned.

Mother made this for Daddy more times than 1 could ever count. He loved it & since we had chickens & cows that supplied the eggs & the milk it was easy to make.
