2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside. In a larger bowl beat together with a electric mixer; butter and both sugars. Beat until light and fluffy. Reduce speed to low and add salt, vanilla and eggs. Beat until well mixed. Add flour mixture; mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoon size balls about 2" apart on cookie sheet. Bake until cookies are golden on the edges, but still soft in the center, 8-10 minutes.
