Base:
1¼ cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup all purpose flour




Filling:
2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
1 can condensed milk (Eagle Brand)

Icing:
2 cups icing sugar
4 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp maraschino cherry juice
almond flavouring (optional)

Directions:

Base:
Mix together base ingredients. Grease a 9 X 9 inch pan.
Press base mixture into pan and bake at 350 º F for 10 minutes.
Filling:
Mix filling ingredients together and spread over the base.
Bake at 350 º F for 20 minutes. Cool.
Icing: Combine ingredients and beat. Spread over the cooled filling.
Cut into squares.

Linda says that In a pinch if you do not have maraschino cherry juice to make the icing you can just use a little almond flavouring and a couple of drops of red food colouring (to make pink)
