Ingredients:
Fresh Fruit: Apples, Pears, Oranges, Grapes, Strawberries, Raspberries, Bananas, Kiwi, Pineapple. Other fruit can be used - whatever you prefer.

Fresh lemon juice

Baker's sugar or any type of organic, unrefined sugar would work.

Directions:
Directions:
Remove peel from applicable fruit.
Cut up fruit into small pieces - not too small, just bite size is good.
Use a deep bowl, trifle dish would work. Glass is better because then you can see the layers and all the color of the fruit.
Start off with apples, pears, pineapple, strawberries. Make layer and squeeze fresh lemon juice over each layer and add small amount of sugar - about 1 tsp. over each layer.
Layer softer fruit nearer the top - raspberries, bananas, kiwi.
Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.

NOTE: you can use more or less sugar if you wish. Keep in mind the lemon juice will bring out juices of natural fruit and too much sugar will mask this. I even add sugar to alternating layers only.

Serve with whipped cream, single cream or ice cream - or with nothing!

Personal Notes:
My mum has been making this fresh fruit salad ever since I was young. It's easy to prepare, very colorful, has lots of different textures and best of all is very healthy! Plus you can throw in whatever fruit you have lying around!
