Crisco (or butter)
Boiled Egg Noodles

Directions:
Chop one head of cabbage in a food processor. (Or thinly slice). Salt each processor load as you put it in a large bowl to sit.

Set aside for 30 min-45 mins. Melt Crisco in a frying pan, turn off heat.

Squeeze all the water out of the cabbage and put the dry cabbage into the frying pan. (Squeeze by hand for best results...)

Lightly salt and pepper (to taste), cover, and cook on medium heat until tender (about 15-20 min), then remove lid and brown.

Boil egg noodles, add to the fried cabbage and mix well and heat thru. Serve.

This recipe can be made without the noodles and layered in filo pastry and baked according to MomMom and then it is called: Graustrudel.
