Filling:
2 lbs. Ground Beef
2 Hot Peppers
6 Onions
5 stalks Celery
2 tsp. Chili Powder
2 tsp. Tomato Paste
1 tsp. Salt
Fat for frying
Dough:
4 1/2 C. Flour
3 tsp. Baking Powder
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 1/2 C. Shortening
1 1/2 C. Water (cold)

Directions:
Directions:
Filling: Put all ingredients through the food grinder or processor. Cook in small amounts with fat until meat is done.
Dough: Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Place in a mixing bowl and add shortening. Rub lightly with fingers to blend in the shortening. Add cold water and mix to blend. Roll out very thin and cut into 3 1/2 circle or 2 1/2 squares. Place 1 tbsp. of filling on the dough, fold over and seal edges. Bake in 375º oven until browned.
