4 Eggs
1 C. Sugar
1 C. Flour
8 oz. Dates
1 C. Nuts (chopped)
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 tbsp. Water
1 tsp. Baking Powder
Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until light; gradually add sugar, then water and vanilla. Sift flour with salt and baking soda and stir into mixture. Stir in dates and nuts, which have been floured.
Spread in 13x9 cake pan, bake 375º for 25-30 minutes
Notes: Silver pan works best and don’t flour dates and nuts with recipe flour
