4 squares chocolate
4 T. butter
2 C. flour
1 t. salt
2 C. sugar
1 egg unbeaten
1 3/4 C. milk
1 t. vanilla
1 t. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate and butter. Sift flour and add salt. Add sugar to cooled chocolate. Add egg and 1 C. milk. Sift in flour mixture and beat one minute. Add vanilla and 1/2 C. milk. Dissolve soda in remaining 1/4 C. milk and mix into batter.

Bake at 350º for 40 minutes. Frost with chocolate frosting and my gollies it's got to be or or else.
