1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. pork sausage (Hot Owens sausage)
onions, 1 med-large chopped
celery, 2-3 stalks chopped
red bell pepper chopped
green onions, 3-4 chopped
water
white pepper (I haven't been able to find white pepper so I just use black)
red crushed pepper
Mrs. Dash
salt
black pepper
2 batches of corn bread (I use 3 pkg of corn kits)
3 eggs
milk
1 can chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Brown and drain beef and sausage. Add chopped onions, celery, bell pepper, and green onions. Cook in the meat mixture until vegetables look wilted. Add water to top of ingredients , cook on low for several minutes. Add white pepper and black pepper to taste. Make 2 batches of corn bread or 1 large batch. Spray large baking pan with Pam before adding the crumbled cornbread. Add meat and vegetable mixture and 1 Tbs. margarine. Add 1 can chicken broth. Mixture should be loose. Add milk until mixture is loose consistency. Bake at 350º for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
