Washed fish(turmeric powder,water to wash) - 1kg
Coriander powder - 50g
Chilly powder - 3 to 4 tsp.
Big onion - 2
Tomato - 2
Green chilly - 1
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp.
Mustard - 1/4 tsp.
Curry leaves - few leaves
Fish kolumbu masala - 25g
Coconut -1/2 cup.
Tamarind paste - 3 tbsp.

Grinding:
Take a pan and fry onion and tomato with little oil and keep aside. Make it to cool and paste it. Take a jar and add coconut pieces and make it as paste.
add two spoons of tamarind paste in a bowl, add water and mix well and take that juice.
Cook:
Take a pan and pour some oil and make it to heat.add mustard and let it to burst, add fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and saute it. Add grinded onion paste, coconut paste, Add chilly powder, salt, fish kolumbu masala and mix well.Add tamarind juice with it.make it to boil well.add fish pieces at last when the raw smell goes off. Boil for 5min. Switch of the stove and serve hot with rice and idli.
