8 oz fresh apple cider
2 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
freshly grated nutmeg
6 oz apple vodka
4 oz. Calvados (apple brandy)
2 oz. fresh lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
In small saucepan, bring the apple cider, cloves, cinnamon stick and a little bit of the nutmeg to a boil. Reduce the heat to med-low and simmer stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens, and reduces to 2 oz. (about 15 min) Strain the cider syrup into a small bowl.

In cocktail shaker, combione half each of the vodka, Calvados and lemon juice, plus 1 oz cider syrup. Add ice, cover and shake vigorously until cold. Strain into two tall, ice-filled glasses. Top with hard cider. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
