1 lb. ground beef
1 can (15 oz.) beef broth
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (15 oz.) red beans, undrained
1 can (15 oz.) white northern beans or canellini beans, undrained
2 c.+ water or additional beef broth
1 T. parsley
1 t. oregano
2 bay leaves (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/3 c. uncooked small pasta - Ditalini or Acini di Pepe

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the ground beef; drain. Combine all ingredients together, except for pasta, and bring to a boil. Add pasta and boil for 5 - 10 minutes longer or until pasta is cooked. Lower temperature and simmer until ready to serve.

May be too thick for some people to be classified as soup. I suggest less pasta and more liquid.
