2 lb. frozen hash browns (thawed)
1/2 stick butter or oleo margarine melted
1/2 c. chopped onion
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. crushed corn flakes
salt and garlic salt to taste ("I use 1/2 tsp. garlic salt")

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the above ingredients in a bowl, except butter/ oleo and corn flakes.
Put in an oiled 9x13" pan or casserole dish.
Mix 2 c. crushed corn flakes and 1/2 stick melted butter/ margarine and sprinkle over the mixture
Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350º, or until done. ("I cover it for part of cooking and then uncover an let it brown".)
