1 pound butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
4½ cups flour

Directions:
Whip the butter. Add the sugar and eggs until well blended. Slowly add the flour.

Fill cookie press with dough. Force dough onto parchment lined cookie sheets into desired shapes. Sprinkle with coloured sugar or decorate with cut maraschino cherries if desired.

Preheat oven to 350°. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Remove to rack and let cool.
