Personal Notes:
Nuts and fudge frosting mix are essential to success of this recipe. Cake will have a soft fudge interior, test for done ness after 60 minutes looking for a dry, shiny brownie-type crust. Our life long friend Gus Heller would make this for my family and his nephews and nieces. He would let it cool in the over with the door shut. To not take a peek inside was grueling!
