1 box of herb salad greens or spring mix
1/2 head iceberg lettuce
1 avocado, sliced in half and then sliced into small pieces
1/4 c. onion, vidalia, shallots, or red onion
handful of pine nuts
handful of craisins
grape tomatoes sliced in half

Dressing

Approx. 3 swirls of extra virgin olive oil (a swirl is once around the salad bowl with the bottle)
Approx. 2 swirls of Balsamic or white or red wine vinegar or any vinegar you like. White Balsamic is nice also!
Approx. 2 tsp. of sugar
a squeeze of fresh or bottled lemon juice
a few shakes of pepper
a few shakes of Parmesan cheese

Toss salad with the dressing and serve immediately!! Enjoy and you can play with the recipe to suit your taste.
