1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup (1 stick) butter melted
½ flour
1/3 cup baking cocoa
¼ teaspoon baking powder

In bowl beat sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add butter; mix well.
Add dry ingredients; and mix well
Pour into a greased 8 inch square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes
Or until tooth pick comes up clean. Cool and frost with frosting or powdered sugar

When brownies are done and still warm you can spread some melted Carmel on top and put in fridge to cool, then when cooled top with chocolate frosting.
or top with powdered sugar, or my chocolate butter cream frosting
