3 cups flour
¾ cup sugar
1 ½ cups cold butter cubed (3 sticks)
2 tablespoons cold water
½ teaspoon almond extract (can use vanilla)


Directions:

n bowl combine flour, sugar cut in the butter until mix looks like coarse crumbs
Stir in the water and extracts, until mixture forms a ball
On lightly floured surface roll out dough 1/4 -1/2 inch thick
Cut with cookie cutters, place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. (DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP)
Bake 325 for 15 -18 minutes

TIP: for softer cookies bake only 15 minutes.
For harder cookies bake for 18 to 20 minutes

Decorate with Royal Icing, or butter cream
