1 pie crust
Filling:
12 strips bacon cooked and crumbled
5 eggs
2 cups half and half (1 pint)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
¾ cup Swiss cheese
Put bacon into unbaked pie crust, beat eggs, half and half and nutmeg, salt/pepper into bowl, stir in the cheese then pour into the unbaked crust over the bacon.

Bake 425 for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 325 for 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes before cutting

Tip: can use cooked sausage, or ham.
You can add onions, mushrooms, peppers if you want,
½ cup each additional ingredient
