Ingredients: 1 (12 oz) package corn tortillas 1 Tbsp vegetable oil 3 Tbsps lime juice 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp salt Pinch of cayenne (Note: the cumin and lime add a nice "zing" to these chips)

Directions:Preheat oven to 350º F Cut each tortilla into 8 chip sized wedges and arrange the wedges in a single layer on a cookie sheet. In a mister, combine the oil and lime juice. Mix well and spray each tortilla wedge until slightly moist. (or use a pastry brush) Combine the cumin, chili powder and salt in a small bowl and sprinkle on the chips. Bake for about 7 mins. Rotate the pan and bake for another 8 mins or until the chips are crisp, but not too brown. |

Notes: Tasty baked tortilla chips you make at home that are much healthier and cheaper than store bought chips. Best when served warm with your choice of salsa, guacamole, and garnishes. Or make them with cinnamon sugar instead for a sweet treat (tastes like a churro).
