1 1/2 cups warm water
2 packages dry yeast
4 cups flour
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Mix water and yeast, add half of the flour, then sugar, salt and shortening. Beat at medium speed 2 minutes. Add remaining flour stir by hand. Let rise 30 minutes.

Grease 2 dozen muffin tins. Stir down dough and fill muffin tins 1/2 full with mixx. Let rise 25 minutes. Bake in 400 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
