2 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. ground turkey
2 large onions, chopped
3 C water
1 can tomato sauce, 29 oz.
2 cans diced tomatoes, 15 oz.
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 T Italian seasoning
3 bay leaves
3 T soy sauce
2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1/2 t garlic powder
1 T seasoned salt
2 C dried elbow macaroni

Directions:

1. In a large, deep pot, saute the ground beef and turkey over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Break up meat while sautéing. Drain.

2. Add onions to the pot and saute about 5 minutes. Add water, tomato sauce, tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, soy sauce, salt, pepper and seasoned salt. Stir well. Place lid on pot and simmer for 20-25 minutes.

3. Add the elbow macaroni, stir well, return the lid to the pot and simmer for an additional 20 minutes. Turn off the heat, remove bay leaves and allow mixture to sit before serving.
