1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 package lemon or lime jello
lemon juice from one lemon or lime
lemon rind
1 1/4 cups pineapple juice
1 can carnation evaporated milk
graham cracker crust

Directions:
Directions:
Whip together the egg, sugar, jello, lemon juice and rind and pineapple juice. Boil a little and set aside to cool. Whip the can of milk and add to mixture. Pour into crust and refrigerate.

Mom got this recipe from Aunt Marilyn long ago. If you use lime jello, it tastes just like key lime pie. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and a slice of lime.
