1 cube margarine
1 C canned milk (I use the full 12oz in a can)
1 package German chocolate cake mix
1 package caramels (10 to 12 0z, bag
1 6 oz. package chocolate chips
1 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine margarine, 8 oz, milk, nuts, and cake mix. Pour I/2 the mixture into a 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes. Melt caramels and 4oz. milk in a double boiler. Remove cake from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over hot cake. Pour melted caramels over chips, top with the other I/2 of cake mixture. Bake 15 to 20 minutes more.
