Ingredients:  
1 c all purpose flour
1/4 c dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c raisins
1/3 c mixed peel
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
4 T vegetable oil for dough and 4 T vegetable oil for cooking
4 T water
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients and store in a ziplock bag
Remember to pack the vegetable oil

Combine dry ingredients with 4 T oil, 4 T water and mix into dough
Shape dough into 12 patties
Heat oil in frying pan
Place patties in pan and flatten with a spatula
Cook for about 3 minutes and then turn over to cook the other side
Let cool before eating
