3/4 c long grain white rice
1/2 c small pasta like vermacelli
1-3 tbsp butter (desired amount)
14 oz chicken broth
1 tsp chicken base
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a skillet and sauté rice and pasta until lightly brown. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Keep covered for 15 minutes. Fluff with fork.

This recipe doubles well.
