2 cups Applesauce
1 cup Butter
2 cups White Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
3 cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon each Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves
1 cup chopped Pecans
1 cup Raisins
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar then add beaten eggs. Heat applesauce. Add baking soda while applesauce is still warm. Then add to first mixture. Mix well. Add salt and spices to four. Save a small amount of flour to mix with fruit and nuts. Mix flour and spices into first mixture. Add vanilla, nuts and fruit. Pour mixture into greased and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake at 325º for 1 hour or until done. Note: it usually takes 1 1/2 hours.
