4 large sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled and mashed = 2 heaping cups
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter, melted
2 eggs
1/2 c. evaporated milk

Topping:
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped pecans - freshly chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the first 5 ingredients and pour into a greased large casserole dish. Cut the butter into the brown sugar and stir in the pecans. Spread over the potato mixture. Cover and bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Remove lid and bake additional 15 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
